isNaN()

Description :

This is a global method used to check whether the given value is a number or not.

You can pass any type of value as a input paramter to check the value.

Also there is a reserved keyword called 'NaN' and this will be returned when javascript wanted to send other than number when the expected is number. For e.g. NaN will be returned for the operation '1/"Hello"'

Syntax :

isNaN(value)

Input Parameters :

value
The value to be tested

Return Values :

Returns false if it is number otherwise returns true
